Clos de la Houssaie
A benchmark cuvée highlighting the characteristic terroir of Muscadet Sèvre & Maine.
Clos de la Houssaie is a 70-acre vineyard plot in the town of La Haye Fouassière. Surrounded in part by a stone wall which gives it an ideal micro climate for the ripening of the grapes. This clos was used as a reference in 1926 for the appellation “Grand cru de Sèvre & Maine”. Since the 2009 vintage, it has been recognized as “Cru Communal la Haye Fouassiere”.
