Lessona is amongst the smallest DOCG's in Italy, at just 20HA under vine, and thus isn't as well known. Sperino's Uvaggio is one of the great values from the legendary De Marchi family and is comprised of mostly Nebbiolo, with a little Croatina and Vespolina. It comes from 3 of the top sites in Lessona; Ormeggio, Castagnola, Belvedere, and is complimented by Madonna degli Angeli from Brusnengo in Bramaterra. This is a beautiful expression of Alto Piemonte that possesses all of the purity and focus Luca coaxes out of Lessona
