The unusual and striking rosso from Radikon is a bottle that even we don't get to experience very often. When the wine comes, they typically find their way onto pairing menus, or in this case, are simply overlooked and forgotten. The 2022 Venezia Giulia RS (Rosso Sasa) is mostly Merlot with 25% Pignolo and is quite lively on the aromatics. Mint and herbs bring a lovely cool-tone to the boisterous expression of wild mountain berries and chewy texture.
